About The Center

Under the guidance of Dr. Luana Zellner, Center Director, and the Principals' Center faculty and staff, the Center provides a) training, b) research, and c) technical assistance to the principals of Texas and the schools they serve. Besides the goal of providing training, research, and support, a secondary goal is to make a national impact on the field of school administration through participation in a) national professional associations, b) publications in academic and practitioner journals, and c) policy statements to governmental agencies that establish conditions for the training and professional development of principals.
