College of Education and Human Development International Graduate Certificate Program
Courses
The Certificate Program consists of 16-credit hours that graduate students can elect to add to their Master's or Doctoral coursework. Students are required to complete 4 credit hours and to select 6 credit hours from the list below. An internship of 3 credit hours and one 3 credit course selected from the CEHD course list are also required for completion of the Certificate Program. Courses such as EPSY 683 - Field Practicum, EPSY 684 - Internship and EPSY 685 - Directed Studies are options in addition to the courses listed below.
Applicants also need to show proficiency in a foreign language as measured by the TAMU Measurement and Evaluation Service, through coursework from the Department of Modern Languages, or should submit their plan for obtaining foreign language proficiency before graduation.
The Certification Program is designed to complement any of the graduate degrees offered through the College of Education and Human Development, including those from the Departments of Educational Administration and Human Resources, Educational Psychology, Health and Kinesiology, or Teaching, Learning, and Culture. The Certificate Program also may augment graduate degrees from outside of the College of Education and Human Development, with approval from the International Educational Interdisciplinary Faculty. Faculty who would like the CEHD I-IDF Executive Committee to add their internationalized course to the Certification program list should contact Linda Key at lkey@coe.tamu.edu.
