I am sure you are wondering how much money this trip will cost you, how much spending money will you need, and how am I ever going to afford this trip. These are all normal questions to be wondering. These comments and suggestions have been provided by students who went on the Summer trip and hopefully should help you out with your planning!

 

How much spending money will I need?

minimum $200 - 600, or however much you want to spend

$75-100 per week

"Don't bring more money than you are willing to spend because you will spend all of it!!!"

"Don't bring a credit card unless you want to spend a lot!"

"Bring cash, traveler's checks, and a credit card."

"Credit cards were nice to have because you get a better exchange rate."

"Only bring a credit card if you use it wisely."

 

How will I pay for this trip?

"There are scholarships available; make sure you apply."

"It costs more than I had originally budgeted. It was well worth it, but one might consider one of the study abroad loans to use as a back-up."
