Room 614 has two (2) 32" TV monitors on ceiling mounted brackets at the front of the classroom. The Polycom FX V.35 is mounted to a bracket located between the front monitor brackets. Each front monitor bracket has a VCR bracket mounted underneath to hold a VCR, and a fixed camera with a wide angle lens is mounted in the back of the room.

The microphone mixer and wireless microphone receiver is located on cabinetry located directly underneath the front monitors. Room 614 has 25 chairs around large wood tables placed in a U-shape. There is one (1) ethernet connection available for users besides the several in use. There are 18 available electrical outlets and 2 in use. The room is painted blue with Acoustical Solutions, Inc. [(800) 782-5742 or (804) 346-8350] wall panels clipped to the walls.

Two existing 27" monitors are placed along each side wall, approximately midway down the wall. These monitors are ceiling mounted and connected to the Polycom FX's monitor 3 and 4 ports.

An instructor's workstation contains the document camera (Elmo EV-400AF,) composite to S-Video AVer-key video converter, a lectern microphone and a computer with an AVer-Key scan converter is housed. The scan converter attaches to the AV1 input of the document camera. All cabling for the instructor's workstation comes from the back wall of the room.

Eight hanging microphones and two (2) Polycom microphones are placed upon the ceiling to allow the instructors to reorganize the classroom furniture. An existing Shure desktop microphone is installed on the instructor's workstation. An existing Audio-Technica wireless lapel microphone is also integrated into the new system.
